Working Process

1. Compressor Start-up
   • When the compressor starts, the unloader valve remains closed or partially open until the controller commands the compressor to load.
2. Loading Cycle
   • The valve opens, allowing atmospheric air to enter the airend.
   • The air is compressed and delivered to the separator vessel and compressed air system.
3. Pressure Control
   • When the system reaches the preset pressure, the controller activates the unloading system.
   • The unloader valve closes the air inlet, reducing or stopping air intake while the compressor continues to run without producing compressed air.
4. Reloading
   • As system pressure drops due to air consumption, the controller reopens the unloader valve.
   • The compressor immediately resumes compressing air to maintain the required pressure.
5. Maintenance Function
   • Over time, seals, springs, pistons, and valve components wear out, causing slow loading, pressure loss, or sticking.
