The B009301070004 Minimum Pressure Valve (MPV) Kit is a maintenance kit for the compressor’s Minimum Pressure Valve. The MPV maintains a minimum internal pressure (typically around 4–5 bar) inside the air/oil separator vessel during compressor operation. This ensures proper oil circulation, efficient air-oil separation, and smooth air delivery to the compressed air system.

Working Process

1. Compressor Start-up
   • When the compressor starts, the MPV remains partially closed to build the minimum required internal pressure inside the separator tank.
2. Oil Circulation
   • The maintained pressure ensures lubricating oil circulates effectively through the airend, bearings, and cooling system, preventing insufficient lubrication.
3. Air-Oil Separation
   • Adequate pressure improves the efficiency of the oil separator element, reducing oil carryover into the compressed air line.
4. Pressure Regulation
   • Once the separator pressure reaches the preset value, the MPV gradually opens and allows compressed air to flow to the plant air system while maintaining the minimum pressure.
5. Continuous Operation
   • During normal running, the valve automatically adjusts according to system demand, ensuring stable pressure and reliable compressor performance.
6. Maintenance
