Working Process:
During compressor start-up, the unloader valve keeps the compressor inlet system in a closed or restricted condition. This minimizes the amount of air entering the screw element and reduces the starting load on the electric motor. After the compressor reaches its operating speed, the control system supplies the required pneumatic control signal to the unloader. The valve changes position and allows atmospheric air to enter the compressor air end.

With the inlet restricted, the compressor operates in an unloaded condition and the compression load is significantly reduced. This prevents the machine from continuously producing compressed air when there is little downstream demand and helps reduce energy consumption.
